Know what regulators require. Know what you're missing. Know what to do next.

Answer a few questions about your facility and get the steps in the order they actually have to happen. Every one shows the citation, so you can check it against the code yourself.

Live in Arizona. More states are on the way.

Who this is for

Operators of Arizona behavioral health residential facilities - what most people call behavioral health group homes - outpatient treatment centers, counseling facilities and sober living homes, whether you are opening your first location or keeping several current. If you have ever paid someone for a policy manual you had no way to verify, this is the alternative.

Policy Review: your manual against the rule, line by line

Free. Yours to keep. No obligation. If you want the paid Licensing Launchpad, we quote it for you from your answers or from this review - there is no list price. Upload the policies and procedures manual you already have. We read it against every rule that applies to your facility and show you your own wording beside the rule it answers to. Here is one, from a real manual: THE MANUAL SAID: “All staff training is renewed annually.” THE RULE SAYS: emergency safety response training is renewed at least once every 12 months - R9-10-716(F)(1)(b)(ii). Cardiopulmonary resuscitation training has no interval in the rule at all: R9-10-703(C)(1)(e)(iii) requires the manual to state one, and does not say what it must be. WHAT THAT SENTENCE DID: it put one interval on two different trainings, and it quietly set a one-year CPR standard above the two-year card the staff actually held. Nobody decided that. The manual decided it. Open R9-10-716 and R9-10-703 and check us. That is the point of putting the citation on every line. RIGHT NOW WE CAN REVIEW A BEHAVIORAL HEALTH RESIDENTIAL FACILITY MANUAL OR A SOBER LIVING HOME MANUAL. Outpatient treatment centers are next. We would rather tell you that than run a review we cannot do properly.

What it costs

FREE · Policy Review

Upload your policy manual. Crownwell shows you, rule by rule, what it found, with the citation and the passage it quoted. One free review per account, for your facility. Available today for behavioral health residential facilities and sober living homes.

TO OPEN · Licensing Launchpad

Never opened a facility before? Launchpad takes you step by step, from choosing the house to the state's inspection.

1. Set up the business.

2. Choose the house. What to ask the city before you commit to it: zoning, fire, certificate of occupancy and business license, for the cities we cover.

3. Apply to the state. What goes in the application, and what has to be done before you file.

4. Prepare for the state's inspection. Each rule that applies to your facility, your staff checks and your proof, in one place. The policy manual is available for behavioral health residential facilities and sober living homes, and the forms for behavioral health residential facilities.

5. Open, then keep going with Compliance OS.

One-time, per facility. Quoted for you, from your answers or from your free Policy Review. There is no list price.

Every step shows the rule it comes from. Software, not consulting: you file and you decide. Crownwell can't promise a license will be granted.

TO OPERATE · Compliance OS

From $199 a month, per facility.*

Live today: your compliance calendar.

On the way: staff credentials, reminders and alerts, incident records, team access.

*Final pricing is based on your license class, how many facilities you run, and whether you're opening or already licensed. Sober living from $199 a month; behavioral health residential facilities and outpatient treatment centers from $499.

MORE THAN ONE FACILITY

Opening more than one? Your first facility of each license class is quoted in full. Each additional facility of a class you've already set up is half.

Running more than one? Compliance OS is 15% off each facility for 3–5 facilities, and 25% off for 6–10.

Why Crownwell exists

Crownwell exists so that the next operator doesn't have to learn things the hard way like we did.

I was supposed to be a passive investor along with my partners.

I put my own money in first & even took on hard-money loans.

Instead of remaining passive, I ended up responsible for navigating the licensing process across 15 facilities.

When things went wrong, I was the one left to fix it & I had to learn it myself: the fire inspections, certificates of occupancy, state requirements, and everything in between.

Nearly 16 months later (10 months longer than we were quoted), we eventually got the licenses... yet we still had to shut the facilities down.

I faced the foreclosures and the public fallout that followed.

You can find what happened online. I'm not hiding from it.

That experience is the reason we built Crownwell: to give the next operator the clarity, structure, and regulatory intelligence I wish I had before I started.
